Reviewer standards
Benchline Reports names reviewers only after identity, credentials, review scope, and conflicts are documented. Until that happens, reports use editorial review language instead of implying outside expert endorsement.
Named reviewer policy
A named reviewer must be a real person who has agreed to review a defined page, topic, or methodology. Benchline does not publish invented reviewers, implied degrees, ghost credentials, or legacy affiliations that have not been verified.
Verification requirements
- Public identity page, institutional profile, LinkedIn profile, OR written permission to publish a short bio.
- Relevant subject matter experience for the reviewed category.
- Documented review scope: methodology, factual accuracy, category criteria, or technical terminology.
- Conflict disclosure covering employment, advisory, affiliate, vendor, investor, or client relationships.
- Date of review and pages reviewed.
Current reviewer status
Benchline Reports currently uses the Benchline Editorial Desk for internal editorial review. Named outside reviewers will be added only after verification is complete.
Reviewer bio standard
A verified reviewer profile should include name, role, organization or independent status, topical expertise, review scope, conflict statement, contact or profile link, and the date the bio was last reviewed.
